Multiple lanes of West Loop at Beechnut shut down after 18-wheeler overturns, loses load, TxDOT says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Crews are working to clean up a lost load from an overturned 18-wheeler on I-610 West Loop northbound at Beechnut on Thursday, according to TxDOT officials.

TxDOT officials say that multiple lanes on I-610 West Loop northbound at Beechnut and several frontage road lanes are blocked.

TxDOT crews are on scene and anticipate the scene taking multiple hours to clear.

It's unclear what may have led the truck to roll over or if anyone was injured.
