HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A vehicle ended up in a retention pond after it overturned during a crash, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 4.

The crash happened on Sunday afternoon near the Grand Parkway and Northcrest Drive, authorities said.

Precinct 4 confirmed the driver was able to get out of the vehicle safely, and an investigation into the crash was underway.

Photos shared by officials at the scene showed a vehicle with its wheels up in the retention pond off the Grand Parkway. Officials have not said if anyone was injured.
