Humble ISD school bus involved in multi-vehicle crash in Atascocita, officials say

ATASCOCITA, Texas (KTRK) -- A Humble ISD school bus was involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Atascocita on Tuesday, according to the fire department.

The Atascocita Fire Department said the crash happened on West Lake Houston Parkway near FM 1960 East.

Officials said the school bus wasn't carrying any students at the time of the crash.

The bus driver and five people from other vehicles that were involved were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the fire department.

Firefighters posted about the crash on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying that two other people were treated at the scene but declined to be taken to the hospital.

It's unclear what led to the crash, and further details weren't disclosed.
