Another round of storms expected to arrive on Thursday
ABC13 weather has your Houston forecast details, with Doppler radar for southeast Texas and live cameras for the weather where you are all week long.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Our wet Wednesday will be followed by another chance for thunderstorms on Thursday.

We have a 30% chance of rain and scattered thunderstorms arriving Thursday as temperatures warm into the mid 80s.

We'll also be tracking a line of thunderstorms expected to blow this way from North Texas. That line is expected to reach the northwest counties by the evening before it fizzles out as it dives south. For now it looks like Houston may miss out on that round of storms.

Could any storms turn severe?

It's possible, but it's a low chance. We can't rule out an isolated storm that produces large hail and gusty winds over 60 mph. Street flooding is also a possibility whenever it rains heavily.

How does it look for the weekend?

Our atmosphere will dry out and heat up over the weekend with highs approaching 90 degrees. Factor in the humidity, and it will feel like it's in the 90s most day this week. Rain chances are only 10% or less.
