HFD battling fire at recycling warehouse; no injuries reported

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Fire Department said dozens of firefighters responded to a warehouse fire overnight.

According to the department, the flames started at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday at a recycling facility on Springer Street. Firefighters said the business was closed at the time.

An ABC13 crew at the scene captured video of the heavy flames.

HFD said the building on fire was full of recycled computers.

About 60 firefighters responded to the scene, fire officials said. At about 6 a.m., crews were still spraying water.

The fire department said no injuries were reported.
