Train blocking Kuykendahl Road as crews investigate deadly single-car crash, HCSO says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The Harris County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that one person has died after a crash near a train track early Monday.
The crash happened near Kuykendahl and Dowell Road.
HCSO officials did not say what caused the crash, but confirmed it involved only one vehicle.
SkyEye13 flew over the scene, where the train was seen stalled on the tracks with the crossing rail down. The impacted car was also seen several hundred feet away, but facing the train.
Officials reportedly had to walk along Hufsmith Road to reach the crash scene because the train was blocking the roadway.
The driver's identity has not been released at this time.
