13 Alert Traffic: Rollover crash shuts down portion of I-10 East in Chambers Co.: sheriff's office
CHAMBERS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A major rollover crash is causing major backups in Chambers County on Thursday, according to authorities.
The Chambers County Sheriff's Office said the wreck happened on I-10 eastbound at mile marker 831 near the county line, just east of Winnie, Texas.
The sheriff's office shared images of the heavy truck flipped on its side.
Deputies said traffic is being diverted to SH 73, as all eastbound lanes in that area remain closed while crews work to clear the crash.
It's unclear at this time whether anyone was injured in the crash or what caused it.
