Who's running for Texas governor in 2018?

AUSTIN, Texas (KTRK) -- Voters in Texas could hear more about who's vying to be the state's next governor sooner than they think.

Early voting begins February 20, 2018 for the March 6 primary election.

Now that the candidate filing deadline has passed, 10 Democratic candidates have filed to challenge Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, while one Republican, Larry SECEDE Kilgore, has thrown his hat into the ring.
