Dog tricks class at Canyon of the Eagles Resort

We've all heard that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. You can find out for yourself at an upcoming dog tricks workshop.

It's being held Friday, August 14th from 10-11am at Canyon of the Eagles Resort in the Hill Country. The resort is located on the shore of Lake Buchanan and is super pet friendly.

I know it's a bit of a drive from the Houston area, but perhaps an end-of-summer trip with your furry friend is just what you need. You might return home with a dog that can turn the lights off for you or maybe get you that cold beverage out of the fridge.

The class will be taught by trainer Elizabeth Smith with the Austin Dog Alliance. The class costs $25 per person and you get a "tricks kit" and a box lunch. You must register in advance by calling 512-334-2070.
