1 pedestrian dead in fatal crash in downtown Houston, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A pedestrian was fatally struck in downtown Houston Sunday morning, according to authorities.

Police say the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. at 1498 Congress Avenue.

The person died at the scene.
