PEARLAND, TX -- Friends and family members of murdered teen, Joshua Wilkerson, and a small group of supporters gathered near the site of his 2010 murder to mark the Fourth Annual National Remembrance Day for Victims Killed by Illegal Immigrants Sunday (Nov. 10).

The vigil was organized by the Remembrance Project, a non-profit that aims to raise awareness of the issue, as part of a national movement to remember people killed by undocumented immigrants.

Parents George and Laura Wilkerson were among those who spoke at the gathering.

"It's been a tough road and it's still not over for us," Laura Wilkerson said. "None of this will bring Josh back. It's not about justice for Josh; it's justice maybe for some else's kid or family member."
