VIDEO: Woman steals ring from corpse in funeral home

ODESSA, TX (KTRK) -- A woman is facing a felony charge for stealing a wedding ring off the finger of a deceased person.

Odessa police say the female suspect took the ring off the deceased woman April 8 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home on East Highway 80.

Authorities believe she fled the scene in a red or maroon four door Saturn.

The suspect is described as a white female wearing a brown long sleeve sweater, black sweat pants and black sandals.

No arrests have been made.
