Two Santa Fe men arrested after fight involving sword

SANTA FE, TX (KTRK) -- Two Sante Fe men are in custody, accused in a fight that involved one of the susepcts attacking the other with a sword.

Jeffery Paul Cisneros 35, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Neil Wayne Braddock, 44, is charged with deadly conduct.

According to the Galveston County Sheriff's Office, a deputy responded to a disturbance call in the 4700 block of Georgia Sunday. The deputy left, but then another call came in from the same home.

In that second call, it was alleged that Braddock assaulted the Cisneros' mother, who was visiting. Cisneros reportedly then attacked Braddock with a sword.

After that, investigators say Braddock went to his home to get a .22 caliber rifle and fired a shot into Cisneros' home.

According to investigators, the fight was over a water well. There are no reports of any injuries.

Cisneros is in the county jail on $40,000 bond. Braddock's bond is $25,000.
