SPRING, Texas (KTRK) -- Spring High School students have been dismissed early due to a power outage on campus.

According to a statement by Spring ISD, the students were dismissed at 9:30 a.m. They said the outage does not affect the entire school, but it is impacting enough of the building to not be able to continue with normal schedules.

Bus transportation has been provided. Students who usually walk or drive will need parental consent, officials say. And those who are unable to get home right away can wait in the school gym where there is power.
