HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A crying baby was music to the ears of two local officers who helped save an infant who had stopped breathing.

The baby was revived using CPR.

Corp. Brandon Stewart and Officer Pam Minchew of Patton Village Police acted quickly after getting that emergency call last Sunday.

When they arrived, the baby was turning blue. Tonight, she's doing fine, thanks to their work.

The officers got to stop by this week and even brought a gift for the baby.
