Man accused of taping naked teen through bathroom door

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman recently found more than she bargained for while looking at her husband's phone, court documents show.

Mayra Martinez claims in court papers that she was looking through pictures on her husband, Robert Hernandez Jr.'s, phone when she found video of a naked girl in her home's bathroom. She recognized the girl as a 16-year-old she knew.

Martinez turned the cell phone over to the girl, who then gave the cell phone to law enforcement, claiming she didn't know she was being recorded and Hernandez had invaded her privacy.

Court documents allege authorities found a hole in Hernandez's bathroom door at the same vantage point as the video was taken.

Hernandez, Jr., 52, is now charged with improper photograph/visual recording. His bail is set at $20,000.
