HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Karbach fans will be happy to know about a big expansion in the works.

According to the Houston Business Journal, the craft brewer is planning to undergo a $4.5 million dollar expansion of its warehouse.

The 43,800 square-foot facility will be built at Karbach's current location at 2032 Karbach St.

New warehouse features include:

- 23,260-square-foot dry storage goods and keg filling line

- A new barrel aging space totaling 6,752 square feet, which will increase Karbach's current capacity of barrel aged beer and build toward a future goal of having the capacity to age up to 3,000 barrels at a time

- An 11,200-square-foot cooler

- A 1,400-square-foot filler room

A statement obtained by HBJ indicated that the project is expected to be completed by summer of 2017.

Anheuser-Busch announced on Nov. 3 that it was buying the Houston-based brewing company.
