PANORAMA VILLAGE, TX (KTRK) -- A woman who once worked as a substitute teacher for two local school districts has been arrested on a drug charge, authorities confirm to ABC13.
After Panorama Police Department officers executed a search warrant on Monday night, Karen Wilhite was charged with possession of methamphetamine 4 grams, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Lt. Scott Spencer said Tuesday.
Spencer said that Wilhite was arrested at her home, not on a school campus.
A Conroe ISD spokesperson released the following statement to Eyewitness News: Last night, Conroe ISD was made aware of the arrest of an individual employed as a substitute. The individual is no longer employed by the District.
Willis ISD also confirmed that Wilhite was employed with the district for 30 days in 2007.
No other details have been released.
