Patton back at home as Cy Lakes coach

CYPRESS, TX -- Ronald Patton grew up in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. That's why taking on the district's most ambitious project was an easy decision to make.

Patton was hired as the second Cy Lakes football head coach and athletic coordinator, made official Monday. He takes over for Robert Blackshear, who helped open the school and resigned from the position in December.

Coming over from Lamar Consolidated, this is Patton's second head coaching job but certainly a different challenge.
