2018 is already here for some nations

AUCKLAND, New Zealand (KTRK) -- It's already 2018 in New Zealand.

The Pacific Ocean nation was one of the first ring in the new year.

The nation celebrated with fireworks from the iconic Auckland Sky Tower.

Samoa in Polynesia was the first country in the world to welcome 2018.
