HOUSTON (KTRK) -- At NRG Stadium, the dirt is in place for a crushing performance. Giant trucks jacked up on 700 pound tires plan to battle it out.
Eyewitness News woke up with some of the drivers who plan to show up their skills, including Scott Liddycoat. He explained his favorite part is the freestyle session.
During the competition, trucks can fly as high as 30 feet into the air before landing. Liddycoat said sometimes the trucks can flip, leaving him upside down.
The Houston Texans' playoff run pushed back the first date of Monster Jam. If you want more information, head over to NRG's website.
