Former NFL player goes from tackles to tech mogul
Win-Win combines gaming with giving back and gives fans a chance to hang out with their favorite athletes.

HOUSTON, Texas -- Mike T. Brown grew up in Alief with big dreams. His mom raised him on her own, teaching him academics are the most important thing. Brown put in hard work in the classroom, and on the football field, going from Alief Taylor High School to Duke University to playing in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts.

When Brown decided to leave football, he wanted to do something in technology. He taught himself how to code and started his own company that combines his love for sports and helping others.

Win-Win combines gaming with giving back, and makes donating to your favorite professional athlete's charity fun. Players compete in tournaments not to win money, but to win experiences that money can't buy. Everyone who plays wins a prize, with the top winner getting a sideline experience or a private jet trip with their favorite player, all the way down to the last place player earning gift cards and free Lyft credits.

Brown said, "Now in tech, one of the problems that jumped out to me was really with the fantasy sports industry. I realized wow, these guys are making billions of dollars. And my thought was this is happening off the backs of these athletes. So I said, what if we could take this concept of gaming, which clearly fans are really into, and we change that into something that's more valuable for the athlete. We truly believe everybody should be able to get everything they want while being able to give everything they can."
