Man shot and killed during altercation in SW Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in southwest Houston.

Police said they received a call at 7:18 p.m. Wednesday regarding a shooting at 15900 South Post Oak. Upon arrival, officers said they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head.

At the scene, police said there was some sort of altercation in the parking lot. During the altercation, there was an exchange of gunfire.

Police have not released a description of the suspect or the vehicle.
