Dog trainer saves stray dog running loose in HOV lane

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A dog was spotted running south bound in Gulf Freeway's HOV lane Wednesday evening.

An ABC13 viewer told Eyewitness News several drivers stopped on the freeway to help catch the dog.

The woman who was finally able to wrangle the stray dog was actually a dog trainer.

The witness believes the dog was taken to a shelter.

It had no tags and the owner was nowhere in sight.
