VIDEO: Lightning strike blasts tree into pieces

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- This video will make you think twice before brushing off a lightning storm.

A storm was moving through Tyler, Texas Thursday and a security camera on the campus of a school caught video of a lightning strike blasting a tree into pieces.

No was was injured in the incident.
