Stolen wheels: Thief spends hours stealing truck tires in Humble

HUMBLE, TX (KTRK) -- A Humble couple is hoping you will recognize the man who stole the tires and wheels off their Chevy Silverado early Saturday morning.

The thief doesn't appear to be much of an expert.

"You hear this happening all over town and you think guys are coming in with powerful machines and they're in and out in thirty seconds and there's nothing you can do about it," explained Amy Smith.

The thief took nearly three hours and left to get tools three times during the heist. He finally left the truck on top of landscaping blocks from a neighbor's home.
