SAN FRANCISCO -- When people come to San Francisco looking for good fortunes, they think of Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory.

"This is like a museum, like a factory. You can walk in anytime you want. You can get a treat. Get a flat cookie and see how they're made. What else are you going to give them?" says Kevin Chan, the owner of the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory.

The Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory was established on August 5, 1962. Kevin's mom and uncle started it. And my mom has the recipe that he doesn't even know yet.

"I don't want to learn it because I want to give her to have something to do because she will be very bored," Kevin says. "This is her home, the cookies. People love fortune cookies because we're the original. We have the original machine. We have our own recipe."

Check out the video above to see how Kevin makes at least 15,000 of these fortune cookies by hand EVERY DAY!
