HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are looking for a driver who hit and killed a man last night in northwest Houston.
It happened on Long Point Drive near Blalock around 9:30pm.
Police believe it was a maroon caravan that hit the man, who has not yet been named.
The impact from the crash sent him flying into a chain-link fence. He died at the scene.
Houston Police Department Sgt. P Lee said, "The pedestrian, we don't know what he was doing at that point. We only assume he was trying to cross the street."
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police.
