FT. BEND COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- Investigators are looking for the man who shot up a Fort Bend County home with a shotgun Monday morning.
It happened at about 8:30am in the 16000 of Alice Foster Street. It's a single property with a home and several mobile homes on it. On the front of the one in the middle, holes are visible, which eyewitnesses say resulted from the shooting.
Kenneth Burton says he was asleep in the trailer right next to that. He opened the door upon hearing the first shots and saw a man in the driveway, suddenly pointing a shotgun at him.
"He came out screaming with the gun drawn (and asking for his property)," Burton recalled. "I'm like, 'Whoa, sir, I don't know what you're talking about.' I just closed the door and came back in my house."
Burton described how he ran back inside and dove to the ground, while hearing at least a few more shots. He says there were actually two men involved - the one he came face to face with, and another who was yelling at the shooter to go ahead and pull the trigger. No one was hurt.
According to detectives the suspects fled in two vehicles -- a white and black dually pickup and a white sedan.
