COPPELL, TX -- Retail gasoline prices in Texas and across the U.S. continue to tumble amid declining crude oil prices.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported the statewide price at the pump fell 7 cents this week to settle at $1.65 per gallon. Nationwide retail gasoline prices slipped 8 cents to reach an average $1.86 per gallon.

Texarkana has the cheapest gasoline in Texas this week at an average $1.59 per gallon. Drivers in El Paso are paying the most statewide at $1.71 per gallon.

AAA experts say falling crude oil prices around the world helped send the national retail average price for gasoline to its lowest mark since February 2009.
