Freeport Sunday school teacher arrested again for sexual assault

FREEPORT, TX (KTRK) -- A Freeport Sunday school teacher was arrested on a second charge of sexual assault of a child, according to police.

Authorities say the victim in the case, who is now 20 years old, alleges that she and Juan Miguel Mendoza, 36, have been having a sexual relationship since she was 16.

She told police that, like the first victim, she met Mendoza when he was her Sunday School teacher at a Freeport church.
