JAPAN -- Most of us know watermelons as round shaped. But now farmers in Japan are changing it up. They are growing the fruit to be square shaped.

The watermelons are created by placing them in a square box and letting them grow into that shape.

Farmers first started creating the square watermelons 30 years ago, and they are gaining in popularity. Orders for them are reportedly coming from around the world.
