Crews working to extinguish two-alarm warehouse fire in east Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Crews are working to extinguish a warehouse fire in east Houston.

Records show the fire was reported at the 7700 block of Wallisville Road.

Officials on scene say they are concerned about a potential hazmat situation.

It is unclear what may have caused this fire, or if anyone was inside the building when the fire began.

Drivers in the area are advised to re-route as Wallisville Road is currently shut down.
