Pierce Brosnan's Malibu home damaged by fire

MALIBU, CA -- Los Angeles County firefighters responded to a fire at actor Pierce Brosnan's home in Malibu Wednesday night.

The blaze broke out in the garage of the residence in the 31000 block of Broad Beach Road around 9:48 p.m.

About 50 firefighters responded to the scene and knocked the blaze down in 35 minutes.

The blaze was confined to the garage. No injuries were reported.
