Miles Teller finds dramatic role in 'Whiplash'

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES -- Rising star Miles Teller was looking for a more dramatic role and found one in "Whiplash," he says in an interview at the Oscars.

"I envy Pacino, De Niro and those guys who bring such an intensity to a part. To me, it was something that was really gritty," said Teller, who brought his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry.
