A Russian fisherman is crediting the Justin Bieber song 'Baby' for saving his life.

Igor Vorozhbitsyn, 42, told The Austrian Times he was fishing in northern Russia's Yakutia Republic when a grizzly bear pounced on him. Vorozhbitsyn says the bear tore into him with his claws, but then suddenly stopped when someone called him on his cell phone.

His ringtone: Justin Bieber's "Baby."

When the bear heard the unexpected music, it stopped its attack and ran back into the forest, saving Vorozhbitsyn's life. He then used his cell phone to call for help.

"I couldn't believe my luck when the phone went off and he fled," Vorozhbitsyn said.

Vorozhbitsyn is now recovering from cuts and severe bruises to his face and chest. He's also suffering from the embarrassment of having the song set as his ringtone to begin with.

"I know that sort of ringtone isn't to everyone's taste but my granddaughter loaded it onto my phone for a joke," Vorozhbitsyn said.
