Houston students send cards to Sutherland Springs after church shooting

HOUSTON -- The people of Sutherland Springs are receiving encouragement from Houston.

School children from the Houston-area and Longview handmade thousands of sympathy cards.

A group called Encouragement Corner met over the weekend for a prayer vigil before heading to Sutherland Springs to deliver the cards.

The group says more than 2,000 cards were delivered this weekend. It plans to send more to help let the community know that people care.
