HISD chief answering your questions at virtual town hall
The Houston school district chief will answer your questions during an online chat.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- If you are a parent in HISD with back to school questions, here's your chance to get answers.

Today HISD Superintendent Richard Carranza will host a live question and answer session on the HISD website, Facebook page, and HISD-TV (Comcast 18 and Uverse 99).

Carranza will be taking your questions from 7-8 p.m. A session for Spanish speakers will also run from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

You can submit your questions ahead of time on the district's Facebook and social media pages using #Back2School. Questions can also be submitted by email to Back2School@HoustonISD.org.

The broadcast provides parents and families the ability to learn more on new HISD initiatives and changes for the coming school year, the district said.
