1 person killed in violent crash involving 2 vehicles in League City

LEAGUE CITY, Texas (KTRK) -- One person was killed in a violent crash involving two vehicles in League City overnight.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. on the Gulf Freeway at FM 518.

Video shows both vehicles badly damaged from the impact.

Police said one driver was ejected and killed. The driver of the other car was injured and taken to the hospital.

It's unclear what caused the crash.
