Dallas Keuchel and Whitney Mercilus attend gala in Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Two players on top of their respective positions attended the ZT Wealth and Altus Health "Toast to Living Well" gala Saturday night.

Texans star player Whitney Mercilus and Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel are both coming back from injuries.

They are also pretty good friends.

"During the World Series I was texting him like 'man, I need you to pitch real good,'" Mercilus said.

"He's a good dude, first of all," Keuchel added.

The gala is considered one of the largest in Houston each year.
