Student arrested, found with loaded gun at Cullen Middle School

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Cullen Middle School student was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.

In a statement from Houston ISD, the district says the student will face additional disciplinary action.

A Cullen Middle School student was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of a prohibited weapon. In addition to criminal charges, the student also will face appropriate disciplinary action. HISD takes these situations very seriously, as the safety of students and staff is always the district's top priority.
