Country star Clay Walker kicks off 'Band Against MS Ride'

HUMBLE, TX (KTRK) -- More than a thousand bicyclists hit the pavement for a good cause this morning.

Country music star Clay Walker was there to help kick off the 'Band Against MS Ride.'

The ride begins and ends at the home of the Shell Houston Open in Humble, and includes 20, 35 and 60-mile routes.

ABC13 reporter Christine Dobbyn is among this year's participants.

To date, this ride has raised more than $4.5 million for medical research and MS patients.
