HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police have arrested one of four men involved in a chase in southwest Houston.
Around 11:30pm last night, an HPD unit was patrolling 9300 Boone Road and spotted four men sitting in a Mitsubishi Galant. They were parked at the Olle Middle School parking lot.
The officer pulled up to the vehicle to ask men what they were doing, but the driver then took off.
A chase started and ended at Leamont and Evesborough when the car slammed into a pickup truck in the driveway of a home.
The four suspects jumped out and ran off. Some of the suspects ran so fast, they left their sneakers behind.
HPD used a K9 and helicopter and located the driver and arrested him. He faces felony evading charges.
The other suspects have not been arrested. It's unclear why the men ran from police.
