H-E-B spokesperson: Blue Bell anticipated on shelves next month

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- H-E-B anticipates having Blue Bell back on the shelves by mid September, says a spokesperson for the grocery store chain. Houston may be the first to receive the product based on proximity to distribution.

The ice cream company announced this week that trucks are back on the road, filled with ice cream. Blue Bell also announced it was bringing back nearly 200 workers furloughed from an Alabama plant to resume production after state health officials gave the shutdown plant a clean bill of health.
