LOS ANGELES, CA -- Several automakers are facing a class action lawsuit for their keyless ignition systems. Plaintiffs claim the companies have hidden the dangers of the convenience feature.
The lawsuit alleges 13 deaths are the result of vehicles left running while deadly carbon monoxide built up in garages and seeped inside the home.
Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Honda, BMW, General Motors, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Kia were named in the suit.
