AT&T announces more than 310 jobs available in Greater Houston area

HOUSTON -- AT&T today announced the company will hire workers for more than 310 jobs in the greater Houston area including openings in Baytown, Conroe, Cypress, Friendswood, Houston, Humble, Kingwood. Lake Jackson, Pasadena, Rosenberg, Spring, Sugar Land, Tomball, The Woodlands and Webster.

Many of the retail sales, network technician and call center positions are part of AT&T's Project Velocity IP, a multibillion dollar investment plan to expand and enhance the company's wireless and wired networks, and AT&T's focus on delivering an effortless customer experience.

"AT&T continues to expand its customer base in the greater Houston area and invest in our network to ensure we are providing the high level of service customers have come to expect, said Larry Evans, vice president and general manager, AT&T South Texas. "These jobs are part of our commitment to this level of customer service and to support our growth in Houston and its neighboring communities."
