HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Six people were arrested in an undercover prostitution sting in communities along FM 1960 in north Harris County.

Harris County Precinct 4 says the suspects are now facing charges after they allegedly solicited undercover female deputies for sex on Thursday.

Troy Robert Dickerson, 63, Jose Ricardo Iniguez, 44, Rosendo Salazar, 56, Robert Charles Todd, 49, Marquis Little, 26, Zarifou Essobodi Daro, 39, face misdemeanor prostitution charges.

Precinct Four Constable Mark Herman says the primary purpose of this operation was to seek out and rescue potential human trafficking victims.

Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said, "The majority of people who seek the services of prostitutes attempt to justify their action by saying that prostitution is a victimless crime. This statement is absolutely false."
