Two people are facing armed robbery charges after allegedly targeting a convenience store in northwest Houston last night.

It happened around 9pm at the Best Stop gas station on West Little York and Langfield Road. Houston police say they started receiving calls about the store being robbed and gunfire behind the business.

Surveillance video from the robbery shows two suspects going into the store, one jumping the counter. Police say the video clearly shows one suspect putting his foot on a clerk on the ground.

"They had a gun and they pointed the gun to the head and it was really scary," said store employee Moti Kandel.

"They located the two suspects hiding in a ditch behind the neighborhood," said Sgt. Larry Crowson with the Houston Police Department. "One of the suspects had been shot. At this point, we're not sure who he got in a gunfight with."

One of the suspects is an adult and the other is a 14-year-old. The teen was the one shot in the leg, but he is expected to be OK.
