People hitting the bars in downtown Lockport were startled to see a man, bar hopping with his tiger cub last Sunday night.
CNN reports that John Basile didn't think he was doing anything wrong, but police disagreed.
Officers say it's not a good idea to take a tiger to a bar -- even though the cub was on a leash. People were They slapped the cat's owner with disorderly conduct and possession of a dangerous animal.
Basile apparently owns a federally-licensed exotic animal ranch outside of town. His tiger is welcome to stay there, but no more bar hopping.
