The accident happened on the frontage road along the Southwest Freeway at Club Creek. Police say the driver of a pickup truck was going too fast, lost control and slammed into an electrical pole.
Three people were inside the vehicle and one of the passengers died in the wreck. The others were taken to the hospital.
The driver of the truck ran away. Officers are still looking for him.
